It should be created an “universal” battery ,in the sense that it could run in any electric vehicle and could both be changed and charged in any pump station or in any supermarket or so.
If central banks interest rates continue to raise, it will be difficult to ordinary citizens to obtain credits for cars, houses or others goods. This could lead also the world to a recession.
Personally I am not with the automobile industry lobby or even housing or real estate lobby, but these are two of the most important industries in EU, as long with tourism and culture and thought where I’m including.
Batteries should be placed at the center bothom of the vehicles like the weight in ships, and should be changed one per one, say 6 or 8 of them .
The battery of the Audi E-tron consumes 21 kw/h, for the cost of the kwh, 0,15€, of portuguese EDP, our largest supplier ,
It would cost something like 3€ to drive 100 km with an Audi E-tron, against the 10€ for a common 5l/100km vehicle.
As a portuguese, and for the time being, I would simply be glad to ride a bike or even walk.
It is not possible for ordinary portuguese citizens to change and to charge their electric vehicles in the near future. So hibrid vehicles should be positively discriminated.
Along with our territory settlement policy, it should be thought both in Portugal and in the EU where citizens should live, let the market work, but it is a huge error to bring more people to Lisbon and Oporto, and spending something like 4500 million euro to build a bridge that only bring more vehicles to a crowded and overbuild walled city, seems to me a huge error.
Central government should create and incentive a more homogeneous distribution of the population through its territory.
